Womens Cell
The Women’s Cell in Ewing Christian College, Prayagraj, was constituted on 8th, February 2003 with reference to the letter no : 153/CDC/2002 dated 8th May 2002 issued by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi.
Objectives of the Women Cell
- To promote the well being of the girl students.
- To create the awareness about legal and constitutional rights of women amongst the female students.
- To build a gender sensitive campus.
- To make the campus safe for the female students and employees.
- To provide a mechanism for looking into cases of eve- teasing and sexual harassment on the campus.
- To provide counselling to the students undergoing stress and behavioural problems.
- Orienting the female students to recognize their potential and develop their personality.
- To organize seminars, workshops, special lectures, nukkad natak and other such activities.

All the girls students and women teaching staff are its members.
The women cell organizes various activities from time to time such as Yoga, Training for Physical fitness, Flower Decoration, Rangoli, Patriotic Song Competition, Debate Competition, Talks by reputed speakers on Gender Sensitization and Human Values, Women’s Legal Rights, Ayurveda and its benefits.
